Your Impact:
- Support the financial accuracy and timeliness of loan funding activities
- Help maintain smooth accounting operations that ensure borrower confidence and internal efficiency
- Serve as a key part of the Loan Funding Operations process to drive dependable performance and reporting
In This Role You Will:
- Fund new loans for Residential Transition Loans and Rental Property DSCR loans
- Prepare and input loan-related wire transfers
- Input loan tracking information and perform daily loan funding reconciliation
- Respond to internal and external funding inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Resolve funding wire discrepancies and monitor returned funding wires
- Create accounting entries (general ledger and transaction accounts) tied to loan activity, with a focus on new loan funding and ongoing loan maintenance
- Support the Accounting Department with additional tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to adapt to changing business conditions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: cash application, accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Ability to work independently on documentation, correspondence, and reporting
